Please read this checklist carefully to ensure that your manuscript is complete and in compliance with the Journal of Liver Cancer Instructions for Authors.

1) General format Yes No
[1] Do you have the title page, abstract, the text (introduction, methods, results, and discussion), acknowledgements, conflict of interest statement, funding statement, ORCID information, author contribution statement, references, tables, and figure legends?
[2] Is the manuscript submitted in English, in Microsoft Word format (doc, docx)?
[3] Is the manuscript prepared with double spacing in an A4-size paper?
[4] Have page numbers been inserted at the bottom center of each page, beginning from the title page?
[5] Does the title page contain the title, running title (up to 40 characters), names and affiliations of all authors, and contact information of the corresponding author?
[6] Have 3-5 keywords been provided after the abstract?
[7] (For human and animal studies) Have you included a statement on institutional review board (IRB) approval, and included the relevant approval number in the manuscript?
[8] Have all measurements been described in appropriate units (International System of Units)?
[9] Have all references been formatted as instructed?
[10] Have all tables and figures been cited in the text?
[11] Have the tables been prepared in a separate Microsoft Word (doc, docx) file?
[12] Has the author contribution information been listed?
[13] Has the funding source been provided (if applicable)?
[14] Have you provided the ORCID information for all authors?
[15] Have any conflicts of interest been stated?
[16] Have you completed the checklists for the relevant reporting guidelines (e.g. STROBE, PRISMA, CARE, STARD, ARRIVE)?
2) Original articles Yes No
[1] The manuscript does not exceed 6,000 words, including the abstract, references, tables and figure legends.
[2] The Abstract is not more than 250 words, and is structured as Backgrounds/Aims, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
[3] The number of figures and tables is not more than 8 in total.
[4] The number of references is not more than 40.
3) Case reports Yes No
[1] The Abstract is not more than 150 words, and is presented continuously as one paragraph.
[2] The number of figures and tables is not more than 6 in total.
[3] The number of references is not more than 20.
4) Tables and Figures Yes No
[1] Tables are on individual sheets of paper, double spaced, numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals, and in the order of their appearance in the text.
[2] All abbreviations and symbols have been explained.
[3] Figure legends have been typed consecutively on a separate sheet of paper.
[4] Figures have been supplied in JPG, TIFF or PowerPoint (ppt, pptx) format at a final resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
